A crafty drifter crosses paths with a gang of murderous thieves in the middle of nowhere, AZ.
Originally conceived as a thriller set on board a boat in Lake Michigan, "To Hell and Gone" has undergone many changes during its two-and-a-half-year development process.
We knew we had access to a plane. We knew we had 400 acres of land on which no one could tell us what we could (or couldn't) do. We knew we had an old abandoned ranch house, barn, and trailer. We knew we had 4 horses and 100+ cows.
And so, in the spirit of Jeremy Saulnier's "Blue Ruin", we decided to "reverse-produce" the film, writing a story for what was readily available to us.
We hope you enjoy "To Hell and Gone" as much as we have enjoyed creating it.
